Bud Hitt Custom Bow #2 - 67" 40#

Here is a custom bow handcrafted and handmade by Bud Hitt on April 20th, 2011. It is 1 of 4 custom bows made by Bud Hitt in the Spring of 2011. Bud Hitt was 86 years old when he made this. It could be one of his last bows ever made, as he is not currently making anymore custom bows.

May 6th, 2011 - Description of the bow from Bud Hitt:

"I have been asked by collectors of our Vintage HIT bows to make some bows. As a hobby I have made a few BUD HITT bows but am not sure how long I will be able to. I just turned 86."

"BOW 2 - BUD HITT 40# 67" Dual Powered Clear glass limbs with patented Booster Limbs. The handle section is Exotic Rosewood, Cherry, Black Walnut, and Maple. Checkered front. There is a very small lighter color in the glass under the finish of the one booster limb. White Acrylic Polymer insert. Hand rubbed clear coat finish."
